Family Tie-Dye Night
Bring a plain, white t-shirt and join us in the Family Life Center on Sunday, June 30 from 5-7 p.m. for tie-dye fun! We will provide tie-dye, popsicles and ice cream sandwiches. Parents are asked to attend with children, and it is a good idea to dress children in older clothes since splatters and spills do happen.
Vacation Bible School
Cokesbury’s “To Mars and Beyond: Explore Where God’s Power Can Take You!” with science, crafts, Bible stories, singing, dancing and more will take place Sunday, July 21 - Thursday, July 25. Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the VBS program will be from 6-8 p.m. All children who have completed pre-K through fifth grade are welcome. An adult class and mission team will also be offered this year. If you would like more information or want to know how you can volunteer to help with VBS, please contact Kary McAtee.
Foundations Adult Sunday School Class
The Foundations Adult Sunday school class will began a new study, The Harmony of the Gospels, on March 17. This is a side by side study of the four gospels that addresses why we have four gospels, what can we learn from each, and other puzzling questions for today’s Bible reader. The class meets at 10 a.m. each Sunday in the parlor.
Backpack Food Program
When school is in session we meet to pack backpacks on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. on the stage in the Family Life Center. We are collecting new backpacks and food items to include: granola bars, individual packets of oatmeal, canned meals, fruit cups, veggie cups, snack cracker packs and pudding cups. Please drop off your items in the bin marked “BACKPACK PROGRAM” by the Church office. Monetary, school supplies and food donations are always appreciated.
The Bible Study groups meet every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the parlor. Everyone is welcome. For more information, please call the church office at 304-636-0660.
All men are welcome to the Men's Breakfast every Thursday at 6:30 a.m. at McDonald's for faith, food and fellowship.
